Meghan Jones- Scenic Designer
Hello, thank you for visiting my site please take a look around. You will get a glimpse at my expanded portfolio of scenic design work . I also included most of my artwork from initial responses to projects, technical direction, stage carpentry and scenic painting on projects as well.
I have been designing scenery through out Philadelphia and New Jersey for over a decade. I started working with scenery for the stage as a carpenter, and while I loved working on the designs of others I found myself gravitating to the aesthetic and problem solving concepts for scenery which lead me to pursue my MFA in Scenic Design at Temple University in Philadelphia, Pa.
After graduating I continued designing while working as a Technical Director for several years. Today I am a Resident Scene Designer for a few theater companies in Philadelphia and work as a Production Manager. Please contact me if you'd like to talk about an upcoming project.
